Hello! I am new to yoga and a raw food diet and have found in a very short amount of time the beautiful effects of the two practices on my overall well-being. I feel lighter, more energetic, and flexible. I am a big believer in the yin-yang of body and soul and find that the two, if they are or are not one thing, need each other's reciprocal health in order to be a healthy, unified one.
I have a bit of difficulty with the raw food diet because I am 16 and my parents are very much against the whole idea. They are not at all supportive and won't listen to my reasoning. For this reason, I really appreciate this environment in which I don't feel like a complete alien and I know that the raw vegan movement is not a loner thing.
