Two years ago when I was nineteen I was diagnosed with Endometriosis(bad). I went to the doctor after suffering from intense pain, GI tract malfunctions, constant headaches and even migraines, weight gain, eczema breakouts, allergy attacks and basic immune system shut down. After getting on hormone therapy to keep the Endometriosis under control the pain stopped but everthing else just kept going. After trying many different diets and work out regimes I decided to do a colon cleansing juice fast. I knew a lady who was doing one and she had released toxins so quickly that she had gotten sores all over and I decided that I’d ease my way into the fast with a week of raw food. However, my juicer was on back order and that one week went to two and two weeks went to three and by the end of a month every single malady I had had vanished. I did the juice fast anyway(hardest thing ever) and now that all my problems are gone I’m looking for ways to make raw food interesting so that I can keep it up. My passion in life is cooking so it’ll be a difficult transition from that into “creating” or whatever the term for making raw food dishes is.
