i am a young, married, stay-at-home mama of my two little kiddos, age 1 and 5 months. we live in the beautiful mountains of colorado.
although, my husband and i eat healthier then the average American, we are new to raw "cooking". we are not vegan, we DO eat a lot of animal products, but only from local, grass-fed, and organic farms. i feel like it is my duty to raise my children with healthy knowledge of where their food comes from, what exactly is in our food, how it was made, and what the animals ate before they got to us. i want to give my children the best start to life.
my husband invest a lot of money into the food we eat, but this is our insurance policy. we do not practice modern medicine (only in emergency situations), we go to the most wonderful naturopath.
we are protestant christian, more specifically, reformed baptist/reformed calvinist.
