I am new to Raw (started experimenting in Feb.), though I have been Vegetarian for like evahhh and Vegan for quite a bit. I am a total sucker for Holistic Nutrition, and am an Art Student at University (studying Metalworking and Jewelry). Though I currently reside in Philadelphia… New York City is my one and only true love (if I could live in the Union Square Greenmarket I totally would).
I love Raw food. I love food in general. But for me it isn’t as much about eating it as it is about sharing my knowledge of it with others, shopping for it, and preparing things for others.
I’d rather blab about how incredible the sound is that a carrot makes when it snaps is than gobble it down with out appreciating the beauty.
I’m hoping that my journey into Raw as a lifestyle will help me clear up some old food jags that I have due to a unhealthy relationship I formed with eating while I was in High School and lose 25-30 pounds. Not to mention it will help me be happier and healthier than ever!
And I am a total sucker for a Farmer’s Market or Health Food Stor, and I read cookbooks like they’re a Jodi Picoult novel : )
