I am a 31 year old wife and a mother to two amazing children.
When I was about 16 years old I became a vegetarian and did not eat meat until I became pregnant with my first child. (about 6 years) It was a powerful craving! Since then I struggled to come back to vegetarianism as I couldn’t give up steaks and seafood.
About 4 years ago I decided that I needed to have healthy goals in life revolving around food and exercise (along with a whole list of personal goals that I keep) and began to start eating more fruits and veggies and less carbs, sugars, and meats – oh and processed foods – YUCK!
I stumbled upon goneraw.com about a month and a half ago and instantly was hooked. I currently am approximately 75% raw and I am very happy with that. I eat the occasional piece of sashimi or sushi and cannot turn down authentic Middle-Eastern or Thai food.
I am hoping to incorporate the raw lifestyle into my families lives as well and have been trying to slowly introduce different ways to eat (raw of course) recently. I have a hard core meat/potato loving husband, an older child who is very picky, and a younger child that will eat anything.
