Mostly raw since 8/05. This diet, along with vitamins and other healthy changes that I started to make at that time, has totally cured my allergies and asthma,
which were extremely serious. I never thought I’d be able to breathe freely without asthma meds again in this lifetime until I went raw!
I was a low-carb eater prior to going raw, and the main shift that I made was a lot less protein/dairy and a lot more veggies, nuts and fruit. I still don’t eat sugar, rice, potatoes, bread (except nut/seed breads) and pasta. I love to experiment with raw recipes, especially desserts and recipes that use the dehydrator. I love whipping up fruit and/or veggies smoothies for breakfast every day with a host of healthy additions (green powders, pomegranate powder, E3 Live, Spirulina, flax seed powder, etc.).
