My name is Kayonne. I’m 23 and a native of the Bronx by way of Jamaica. In the past few months I’ve thought so much about food quality and what it means to eat and be well.

I have been raw for several months now. I feel transformed and liberated. I also feel a call to bring wellness through food to neighborhoods like the one I grew up in where the information is less accessible and the resources scant.

I want everyone to know that health is not measured on a scale. I love how raw has made me concentrate on the parts of myself no one can see.

This community is so lovely and the recipes very inspiring!
