Hi. I’m new here. And new at this. If I were to venture a guess, I would say I’m 40% raw/60% lazy. I live in New York city, which really gives me no excuse.
I’m a terrible cook. Terrible. So taking heat out of the equation seems like a smart move. And, despite the irony, I love kitchen gadgets. Love them. If I should go missing, the police should first check in Kitchenware at Bed Bath and Beyond. So any culinary lifestyle that utilizes such things naturally captures my interest. Food dehydrator?! Vegetablespiralizer?! Mandolin?! Sign. Me. UP!
You seem like a knowledgeable and enthusiastic bunch and I’m looking forward to the share-fest.
Though I must confess, I’m incapable of following recipes without pictures. Partly, because I rely on my eyes to communicate with my stomach and determine what it wants, and partly because, asI mentioned before, I have no culinary instincts, so I need visual representation of the outcome I’m shooting for. Otherwise there’s no hope. So, post those pictures! Do it for me.
