My raw journey is a long story but I first heard about the benefits of eating raw food 30 years ago in Australia when I read a book called “Raw Energy” by Leslie Kenton. The research she documented by the world’s leading nutritionist and health doctors excited me and eating unadulterated, unprocessed food made perfect sense to me as a way of achieving vibrant health. I was already a vegetarian but wasn’t achieving the level of energy and health I desired.
As I traveled and lived around the world I looked for evidence that people were actually living successfully on a raw diet. Then one day I attended a seminar with Victoria Boutenko and her husband in Vancouver. For a whole weekend they made us delicious raw recipes that were so tasty and delicious and they told us their experiences and I knew I had finally found what I was looking for.
